Mizuno JPX One Drivers Break New Ground For 2026 (Reviewed)

Mizuno have a new groundbreaking JPX One drivers series for 2026 with two new models – the JPX One and JPX One Select – going where no brand has gone before.

The two drivers feature the world’s first Nanoalloy face technology on an ultra-thin forged titanium base, boosting ball speeds and forgiveness across the face.

Replacing the ST premium series, there are two new models with the JPX One offering higher MOI stability for most golfers and the JPX One Select a compact, workable profile for better players.

The two drivers were launched in January 2026 during a busy period for Mizuno, who also unveiled new Pro M-13 and Pro M-15 irons and M.Craft City Series putters.

Pros & Cons

✅ Nanoalloy face delivers faster ball speeds and expanded rebound zone on both models
✅ JPX One provides high MOI, straight bias and upright lie for broad appeal and stability
✅ JPX One Select offers pear-shaped workability with fade bias for skilled players
✅ Adjustable backweights on both for swingweight customization
✅ Subtle blue carbon crowns enhance aesthetics at address

✅ Reengineered Cortech Chamber and Speed Bevel sole improve low-face strikes and turf interaction
❌ Select model’s compact shape and fade bias may not suit slicers or high handicappers

❌ Premium $599 price positions them against top competitors

❌ Nanoalloy limited to drivers; fairways use MAS1C faces instead

JPX One Driver Specs & Design

The JPX One driver is the standard model with higher MOI, longer front-to-back and heel-to-toe dimensions for enhanced stability.

The key design in Mizuno’s new 460cc driver is a 11% thinner forged titanium face compared to the ST Max driver, overlaid with Nanoalloy to dynamically flex.

The result is that the new Nanoalloy face unleashes higher ball speeds across a 15% larger rebound area than previous Mizuno drivers.

Mass savings from the new thin face designed have allowed Mizuno to refine the Cortech Chamber weighting to increase MOI and forgiveness in the JPX One.

Designers have narrowed the amount of weight in the middle of the chamber and widened it at the extremities to boost heel/toe and low-face performance.

The changes have resulted in center of gravity being pushed back and the MOI low for maximum forgiveness, including via a rear 11g weight – all promoting a neutral straight ball flight.

The JPX One is available in lofts of 9 degrees, 10.5 degrees and 12 degrees with up to four degrees of adjustability from the hosel.

JPX One Select Driver Specs & Design

The JPX One Select targets better players with a pear-shaped, compact 460cc profile that suits faster swing speeds.

The Select version has a deeper face, flatter lie and increased face progression for fade bias and reduced spin levels off the face.

Like the standard model, the Select has a titanium forged face coupled with the new Nanoalloy over the top for explosive speeds and solid impact.

Mizuno JPX One Select Driver

With an 11% lighter face, Mizuno’s design team have been able to reposition mass for enhanced workability and shot shaping that elite players are looking for.

That includes a re-engineered Cortech Chamber with weight pushed to the perimeters, and Speed Bevel sole mirror for low-strike forgiveness.

The JPX One Select is available in lofts of 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees with up to four degrees of adjustability from the hosel.

Mizuno JPX One & Select Drivers Review: Are they any good?

Mizuno’s JPX One series takes the brand’s driver performance to a new level through Nanoalloy innovation with stunning ball speeds from the new hot face technology.

The two separate heads blend forgiveness, speed and feel but have benefits for diverse swings and different skill levels.

The JPX One fits most golfers with its stable, straight-flying design and confidence-inspiring shape, while the Select unlocks tour-level workability without extreme compactness.
