Moses Itauma vs Jermaine Franklin fight details

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Venue: Co-op Live Arena, Manchester.

Start time: 17:00 GMT.

Undercard fight to watch: Shakiel Thompson vs Brad Pauls.

Current main event odds: Itauma -2500, Franklin +1100, draw +2500.

Moses Itauma recent form

Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) has dazzled throughout his professional career, but his last five fights really stand out, winning all by stoppage. The last three wins have really accelerated his career, with one-sided beatdowns delivered against Demsey McKean, Mike Balogun, and Dillian Whyte in more recent fights.

His devastating speed and power have stood out above anything else. These attributes have helped him overwhelm opponents, leading to early stoppages. The little feints he does to draw opponents out before firing off quick counters are a joy to watch. For someone so young, he utilises his southpaw lead hand to control the distance and tempo in his fights.

When he hurts you, Itauma is excellent at capitalising and stopping opponents.

Jermaine Franklin recent form

Franklin (24-2, 15 KOs) has developed a reputation as a tough, durable heavyweight. The American has only lost twice in his professional career, against Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. Last time out, he simply outworked Ivan Dychko and deserved the win.

In his fights against Joshua and Whyte, both defeats were competitive and showcased his granite chin and excellent engine. In addition to his toughness, Franklin is an impressive counter-puncher. Due to Itauma’s speed, Franklin will need to throw with the Brit and try to make him second-guess himself and slow down.

Itauma vs Franklin prediction

Itauma has passed every test with flying colours, but this is his biggest test thus far. While not a massive name, Franklin is tough and will be on a high after his win last time out. Taking all that into account, we are backing Itauma to box diligently throughout before becoming the first man to stop Franklin between rounds 6-8.
