Motorsport UK Esports launches multi-discipline iRacing competition

Eight UK circuits, eight different car classes, the British Sim Racing Cup begins in March.

Motorsport UK Esports – the officially sanctioned sim racing arm of Motorsport UK – has announced a unique competition.

Starting in March 2026, the British Sim Racing Cup will tour iRacing’s virtual recreations of the United Kingdom’s best tracks. However, in a twist, each round will feature a distinctive car class.

So, alongside the likes of Silverstone, Cadwell Park and Thruxton, will be vehicles such as the FIA F4, the Japanese Super Formula single-seater and the ubiquitous GT3 category.

The championship will be organised by the governing body, with post-race stewarding, plus live coverage produced and broadcast by RaceSpot TV.

Other notable setup factors include a minimum iRacing licence of Class D 2.0, the possibility of rain and one drop round for season-end points calculation. There are different race formats too, such as two 20-minute races for the TCR round or one 45-minute race in GT4.

To enter, drivers must be over 16 years old and a Motorsport UK Esports member, which costs £27.99 for 12 months. It does include, not just access and the organisation of races, but also 12-months of iRacing subscription and the aforementioned FIA F4 car.

Prizes for the top three competitors include Regen light-blocking glasses plus accessories. Additionally, there will be bonus Regen prizes in a raffle form for those who complete all eight rounds.

30 entry slots are available, and registration begins today, 17th February 2026, ahead of the opening race on 17th March.
