My moment of the year has to be Lando Norris claiming his maiden Formula 1 title.
It was an incredible season from the Briton, full of highs, including a home race win at Silverstone.
Norris was able to safely put to bed any wet-weather race trauma, securing three wins in changeable conditions, banishing the demons from Sochi 2021 and Sao Paulo 2024.
But for me, the most memorable moment was Norris’ ability to mentally fight back from his mid-season slump.
Overcoming an on-track challenge from his less-experienced team-mate Oscar Piastri (albeit with papaya rules at times) was truly admirable.
