UFC contender Movsar Evloev has explained why he doesn’t see anything special in his UFC London opponent Lerone Murphy.
Next month, Movsar Evloev will go head to head with Lerone Murphy in the main event of UFC London. It serves as the biggest opportunity yet for him to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he deserves to challenge for the UFC featherweight championship, and the same is true for Murphy.

Evloev is an incredibly talented fighter but it seems like in the eyes of the UFC, he needs another landmark win before he is able to challenge Alexander Volkanovski for the right to be called the UFC featherweight champion.
In a recent interview, Evloev had the following to say about his upcoming collision with Murphy.
Evloev on Murphy challenge
“I’m not trying to underestimate this guy, but I think I’m better everywhere,” Evloev said. “He’s a striking guy. He has pretty good striking skills, but I don’t see nothing special. He’s good with the smart moves in striking, but I will use my tools with wrestling, pressure, everything, so I can win this fight as soon as possible.”
“I will fight and then no one will have any excuse to see me as the No. 1 contender for the title,” Evloev said. “Alex is the best featherweight of all time. I’m so happy he’s not retired yet. I will be happy to fight him before he goes.”
