Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammates MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo reunited ahead of the IPL 2025 match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Dhoni greeted Bravo, who left the Super Kings to become the bowling coach for Kolkata Knight Riders, by calling him “the traitor,” and the video went viral.
MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo have played together at Chennai Super Kings for several seasons. Bravo represented CSK in two stints — from 2011 to 2015 and then again between 2018 and 2022. The former all-rounder served as CSK’s bowling coach in the 2023 and 2024 IPL seasons after his retirement.

Chennai Super Kings Eye to Make Comeback at Chepauk
Chennai Super Kings are aiming to bounce back at Chepauk, a venue that gave them an edge in the past but hasn’t offered the same advantage this season. Head coach Stephen Fleming expressed his disappointment after a heavy defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
CSK won their opening match but lost the next four in a row. With just one win from five games, they are ninth in the 10-team points table.
Their opponents, Kolkata Knight Riders, are in sixth place and have also faced issues with inconsistency. After losing their season opener, KKR have struggled to build winning momentum.
