MS Dhoni does not really like to show too much emotion on the field, but the former India skipper could not stop himself from sharing a couple of light-hearted moments with the robotic dog during the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings in Lucknow on Monday (April 14).
The robotic dog has been introduced this season in order to enhance the broadcasting of the tournament.
Robot dog is a new addition to IPL’s broadcast facilities
The latest technological addition has been catching the attention of the players and others since its introduction. MS Dhoni took a keen interest in the robotic camera dog as well and was charmed by it.
He left the fans in splits with his antics with the robot dog. When he met the dog on the field, the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman hilariously picked it up and laid it down on the ground. He placed the dog upside down on the field, making it unable to move.
After the game, Dhoni shared another adorable moment with the dog. He was seen shaking hands with the dog and interacting with it.
Later, he picked it up and proceeded to carry it with him. However, the CSK skipper did not carry the dog to the dressing room and hilariously put it down behind the advertisement board.

MS Dhoni guides CSK to win:
Talking about the game, MS Dhoni-led CSK beat LSG by five wickets to register a much-needed win. The win ended CSK’s five-match losing streak. It was only their second win in seven games this season.
The five-time champions began their campaign with a win over the Mumbai Indians before losing five games in a row.
MS Dhoni was adjudged the Player of the Match for his all-round performance. The World Cup-winning captain effected three dismissals before playing a match-winning cameo.
Batting first, LSG scored 166/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Rishabh Pant top-scored for the hosts, scoring 63 off 49 balls. For CSK, Matheesha Pathirana and Ravindra Jadeja picked up 2 wickets each.
In reply, CSK chased down the total with three balls remaining. CSK needed 56 runs in the last 5 overs when Dhoni joined Shivam Dube in the middle.
They went on to share an unbeaten 57-run stand to take CSK home. Dhoni remained unbeaten on 26 off 11 balls while Dube scored 43.
