Ace Australian spinner Nathan Lyon has said that Yashasvi Jaiswal can put out a challenge to the Aussie bowler attack during the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He said that he has already begun to work on his tactics to take Jaiswal and he has taken inputs from England spinner Tom Hartley who had a good time during the five-match test series against India during the early stage of the year.
The pace and bounce offered by Australian pitches is expected to be a different sort of challenge for Jaiswal, and it would be interesting to see how he turns up for that.
“I haven’t come across him yet, but that will be a massive challenge for all of us bowlers. The way he played against England, I watched that quite closely and thought that was quite amazing,” Lyon told ESPNcricinfo.
The ace Australian spinner had a chance to take some noted from Hartley, who has first-hand knowledge about Jaiswal’s mastery with the bat, since Hartley has 20 wickets in four Tests against India.
