New UI, Game-Changing Collaborations, Card Collection System, and a Bolder Vision for Indian Gaming

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has received its 4.3 update on March 18, 2026, and it is being called the biggest and most ambitious update in the game’s history. KRAFTON India has introduced a wide range of new features, including a completely redesigned interface, major collaborations, a new Card Collection system, and the return of fan-favorite content.

The BGMI 4.3 update aims to take the game beyond just a battle royale experience and turn it into a more engaging platform where players can collect, compete, and connect.

The All New BGMI brings a complete UI overhaul

The biggest highlight of the update is the “All New BGMI,” which is a complete redesign of the game’s interface. KRAFTON has rebuilt the UI from the ground up to make it more modern, cleaner, and easier to use.

The new design features brighter colors, improved lighting effects, and better visuals across menus. The interface now feels more smooth and less cluttered, making it easier for both new and old players to navigate. The update also adds larger tiles and simplified menus, helping players quickly access different game modes and features.

This is not just a visual upgrade, as the new UI also improves overall user experience and progression flow, giving BGMI a fresh and premium feel.

Card Collection system adds a new way to play

BGMI 4.3 introduces the Card Collection system, which adds a completely new layer of progression in the game. This system allows players to collect cards by completing missions, participating in events, and opening crates.

Players can level up their collections and unlock exclusive rewards, including upgradeable weapon skins. The system also allows trading cards with friends, making it more interactive and community-driven. Duplicate cards can be dismantled to earn extra rewards like tokens, avatars, and frames.

This feature is designed to keep players engaged daily, not just for matches but also for collecting and progressing.

The CSK collaboration goes live on March 21, while KKR content will be available from March 25. Players can get exclusive items like themed outfits and vehicle skins inspired by both teams.

The update also introduces special photobooth locations in Erangel and Livik maps where players can take pictures with virtual versions of team players. This adds a unique crossover between cricket and gaming, targeting two of India’s biggest fan bases.

BGMI 4.3 also features a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen, bringing themed rewards through Mini Royale Pass and Lucky Spin events. This adds anime-themed cosmetics and content for fans.

In addition, the update includes a collaboration with Apollo, introducing high-speed vehicle content through the Speed Drift system. This adds a new style of gameplay focused on performance and speed.

New and returning X-Suits and theme mode

The update introduces the new Phoenixtra X-Suit, adding to the premium cosmetic lineup in BGMI. At the same time, the popular Dark Raven X-Suit makes a return, which has been highly requested by the community.

Another major addition is the return of the Ancient Secret Rise theme mode. This fan-favorite mode was brought back after strong demand from players and includes unique locations and gameplay mechanics.

KRAFTON’s vision for BGMI

According to Srinjoy Das, Director of Marketing and BGMI Product Management at KRAFTON India, this update focuses heavily on player feedback. The company has brought back popular features and added new systems to improve both gameplay and engagement.

Commenting on the landmark update, Srinjoy Das, Director – Marketing and BGMI Product Management, KRAFTON India, said, “This is the most jam-packed update for BGMI fans in a long time. While we made contextual and beautiful changes to the menus, that makes progression feel lively, we have also made a ton of gameplay improvements as well. Together with the exciting new Card Collection mechanism and the exciting collaborations, this time we focused a lot on our fan voice – they wanted Ancient Pharoah back, we’re bringing it back. Dark Raven is a heavily sought after X-suit, we’re bringing it back, as well. There’s never been a more exciting time to be a BGMI fan! Last but not the least, we have an even bigger surprise for BGMI and cricket fans on 28th March”

He also hinted at another major surprise for BGMI and cricket fans on March 28, which could bring even more exciting content to the game.

The BGMI 4.3 update is one of the most content-packed updates the game has ever received. From a complete UI overhaul to major collaborations and new progression systems, the update offers something for every type of player.

With this update, BGMI is clearly trying to evolve into more than just a battle royale game and become a platform that combines gaming, entertainment, and culture.
