New WWE Signing Makes In-Ring Debut Months After Signing With Company on Evolve

One of WWE’s newest signings has officially stepped into the ring for his first match, marking a major milestone only months after joining the company.

Cyrus Habibi-Likio, now competing under the ring name Cyrus, made his in-ring debut on the February 25, 2026 episode of WWE Evolve. The debut comes roughly three months after WWE confirmed his signing as part of its November 2025 recruiting class.

Cyrus competed in a 10-man tag team match, joining Team Performance Center alongside Kam Hendrix, Harley Riggins, Braxton Cole, and Keanu Carver. Their opponents were the WWE ID team of Sean Legacy, Ricky Smokes, Brad Baylor, Aaron Rourke, and Mike Cunningham. Cyrus’ team came up short, as Aaron Rourke scored the pinfall victory over Kam Hendrix to secure the win for WWE ID.

Habibi-Likio’s signing had already generated attention due to his athletic background. He previously played running back for the Boise State Broncos and was spotted by WWE officials after attending shows and posting about his interest on social media. Following a successful tryout during SummerSlam week in 2025, he signed a three-year deal with WWE.

While this marked his first official match, Cyrus had already appeared on WWE programming in a limited capacity, working as one of the Performance Center talents used as security during various segments.

What are your expectations for Cyrus’ future in WWE? Do you think he could become a breakout star on NXT?
