DENVER – The saying, ‘tale of two halves’ has never rung so true as pregame sunshine turned into a late-game blizzard, the New England Patriots beating the Denver Broncos 10-7 in the AFC Championship.
Operating with backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham, the Broncos took an early 7-0 lead and had a chip shot field goal, but opted to go for it on 4th down and failed.
Denver does not score again, falling by just 3 points as the Patriots ride one of the hottest defenses in the league.
The Patriots will make their record-extending twelfth Super Bowl appearance in two weeks.
Ryan Radtke, Mike Golic, and Laura Okmin call the thriller on Westwood One.
