“Philly, they’re a seller. Ristolainen, another guy who like Trocheck, did nothing at the Olympics to hurt his stature. Played very well. Hit McDavid a couple of times.
The thing that someone said to me, though, is, there’s a lot of D out there. A lot. And it’s not that people don’t like this player, who’s also got a reputation as an excellent teammate, by the way, it’s just that the challenge for the Flyers will be is there’s a lot of D out there.
So if you don’t like the price on him, unless you’ve really got your heart set on him. There’s other players you can move to. That’s the challenge for Philly.”

Nick Foligno has had some talks with the Chicago Blackhawks GM about his future
The Fourth Period: Ben Pope said on X that Chicago Blackhawks forward Nick Foligno
has held preliminary talks with GM Kyle Davidson about the deadline.
Foligno: “When you’re in this situation where you’re not in the playoffs, there’s decisions the organization has to make, and then therefore there’s decisions you have to make. That’s something we’re going to go through the process of. It’s too early to say.”
Foligno, Ilya Mikheyev, Sam Lafferty, Connor Murphy, and Matt Grzelcyk are pending UFAs for the Blackhawks.
It’s possible the Blackhawks could look to extend the 38 year old forward, or trade him. Foligno doesn’t have any trade protection.
