Nic Nemeth isn’t waiting for answers after getting jumped backstage—he wants a fight, and he wants it at TNA Rebellion.
After TNA Sacrifice, Ryan Nemeth found his brother laid out backstage following an apparent attack. Now, Nic Nemeth has responded with a video message, calling out whoever blindsided him and daring them to face him in the ring. Nemeth admitted he let his guard down, but said the cheap shot only made him more determined to settle things the right way—face-to-face.
“To whom it may concern, I don’t know who you are and I don’t care. After 20-plus years in this business, I should know better. This one’s on me. I should have had eyes in the back of my head, but I didn’t. I got blindsided. I got attacked.”
He didn’t stop there. Nemeth made it clear he wants the attacker to step up and fight him at Rebellion instead of hiding behind surprise attacks.
“If you’ve got the stomach for it, whoever you are, if you’ve got the guts to face me eye-to-eye, you got the cheap shot in, you made your mark, it got my attention, are you willing to go one step further? Face me eye-to-eye in that ring?”
Since Rebellion is happening in Cleveland, Nemeth also invited a hometown legend to stand with him. He called on Cleveland Browns great Bernie Kosar to be in his corner for the match.
“There’s nobody that embodies the spirit of the city of Cleveland more than Cleveland and Cleveland Brown legend Bernie Kosar.”
“Bernie, you’re a hero to so many of us. You’re a hero to the city of Cleveland. And I think you’re the exact right person to be in my corner, to have my back, as you’ve had Cleveland’s for all these years.”
TNA Rebellion is set for April 11, 2026, in Cleveland, making this challenge even more personal for Nemeth as he looks to get revenge in front of his hometown crowd.
Nic Nemeth isn’t backing down after that backstage attack, and now the ball is in his attacker’s court. With a hometown crowd behind him and possibly a Cleveland legend in his corner, this fight is shaping up to get very personal
