Nick LoPiccolo isn’t done with the burner account saga—and now he’s giving a name to Tony Khan’s online supporters.
In a post on February 2, 2026, LoPiccolo escalated his ongoing feud with AEW President Tony Khan by coining a newfor what he describes as the promotion’s “bot armies” and loyal defenders online:
“If wrestling fans are marks, 175 Tony Khan bots and burners and all of the Tony Khan apologists are Rons.”
The jab references his earlier claims that Khan operated a now-deleted burner X account under the alias “Ron.” According to LoPiccolo, this account posted suspiciously specific AEW-related content and shared all the same enemies as Khan. He has since accused multiple users of being the same person behind shifting burner aliases, even tagging the NFL and NFLPA given Khan’s role as Chief Football Strategy Officer for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The post was in reply to a fan jokingly asking whether “Mark is the new Ron,” to which LoPiccolo doubled down, reinforcing his point that Khan defenders have effectively become “Rons” in his eyes—an evolving insult aimed at alleged online operatives.
As the legal drama, accusations, and social media trolling continue, there’s still been no public response from Tony Khan or AEW. But one thing’s clear: Nick LoPiccolo is just getting started.
