Indian all-rounder, who had a blast with both the bat and the ball in the 2nd T20I between India and Bangladesh on Wednesday, gave credit to the team to let him the chance to play cricket fearlessly.
Nitish smashed 74 runs in 34 balls and helped India make an impressive 221/9 against Bangladesh. He then later took the bowling department with his medium-pace bowling and made number of 2/23 as Bangladesh was restricted to 135/9.
“It feels great to represent India, feel so proud about this moment. Grateful for everything. I should give credit to captain and coach. They gave me the licence to play fearless cricket,” Reddy said at the post-match interaction.
Reddy took his time earlier on in the game, but eventually grew confidence after he hit a six on a free-hit against Mahmudullah.
“I took my time initially, but after that no-ball everything went in my favour. It feels great to play for the Indian team. I want to continue in this same way. Want to keep repeat such good performances.”
