Everything You Need to Know About the First-Ever GT3 Revival Series Weekend
The cars that started a racing revolution will return to action this weekend (11–12 April) when the GT3 Revival Series stages its debut event at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Created by SRO Motorsports Group and Peter Auto, the new championship caters for the first generation of GT3 cars and coincides with the 20th anniversary of the category’s inaugural race at Silverstone in May 2006. They will be racing on Pirelli P Zero DHG.

F1 Academy Introduces Three-Race Weekend Format in Montreal and Austin
F1 Academy has announced the introduction of a new three-race weekend format for select events in 2026 and beyond, debuting at Round 2 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada, and returning at Round 5 at the Circuit of the Americas, Austin, USA.
The new format introduces a brand new ‘Opening Race’ and restores the 2026 calendar to 14 races, following confirmation that the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will no longer take place in April.
FIA TCR World Tour Announces Grid Boost for Fastest Lap
A grid boost for the fastest lap of the first race of each FIA TCR World Tour has been introduced by WSC, the series promoter, ahead of the 2026 season. The driver who sets the fastest lap of the first race will be moved up one place for the grid of the second race grid which is partially reversed.
New Formula Ford Crossflow Cup Series
The producers of the popular Formula Ford Crossflow Cup Series have announced the launch of the new A2V Series for the 2026 Season.
The five-race inaugural series, which kicks off at the CSRG David Love Vintage Races at Sonoma Raceway on April 17-19, will continue the legacy of the Masters Atlantic Plus Formula Series with events that offer a place for four classes of cars (Flat bottom Atlantic and Tunneled Atlantic, SuperVee and Formula 2) to race together, while drivers compete for separate class points and awards.
Hyundai Motor Continues Support for “TEAM HMC”
Hyundai Motor announced on the 6th that it will continue sponsoring the “TEAM Hyundai Motor Club” (HMC), an amateur racing team, for 10 consecutive years. Team HMC is a pure amateur racing team formed voluntarily by people who prefer the Hyundai brand. Since its foundation in 2017, it has consistently participated in the KSF Avante Cup and Hyundai N Festival competitions.
