WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR FEB. 17

When nothing’s left for us to say, substance leads me through the day. All the green has turned to gray like shadows fall from those who died, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens right into the action with Kelani Jordan attacking Lola Vice during her entrance!

Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice

We get a bell, Kelani working Lola’s wrist over hard, smashing it into the mat, dropping her knee on it, working her fingers, Vice counters with a cross armbar but Jordan keeps her hands clasped! Back on their feet, Lola with a kick, whip across, another kick, Kelani with a hammerlock suplex and smashing her hand into the mat over and over again!

Vice with a pump kick, knees in the middle of the ring, Arabian press arm drag, she goes for a body blow but immediately regrets using the bad hand! Sending Kelani to the floor, she trips Lola up in the ring skirt and blasts her with a boot, running knee puts her head into the steel steps! Wristlock stomps to the side of the head, brace off and she smashes Vice’s hand into the diamond plate to send us to break!

Back from commercial, whip reversed, Vice catches Jordan in a sleeper hold and she fades! Falling back, middle of the ring, counter to a bridging pin, only two! Both women down, back on their feet, Lola a whirlwind of kicks, Speedball kicks into the corner, German suplex sends Kelani into the corner, hip attack and butt smashes!

Big Saito suplex in the middle of the ring, Jordan kicks out! Action to the floor, Lola with a diving seated senton, a lil shimmy, rolling solebutt, charging in, backfist goes through the cardboard wall! Vice hurt, back inside, Kelani off the top with the 450 splash… COUNTERED TO A TRIANGLE CHOKE BUT JORDAN FIGHTS OUT BY STOMPING THE BAD HAND!

Short armscissors, Kelani bridges back…

Kelani Jordan wins by submission with a bridging short armscissors.

Tony D’Angelo cuts a promo on Darkstate, saying tonight he’s going to start taking everything from them same as they did him.

Darkstate answer hanging out backstage, Cutler James promising to take care of Tony.

We see Ricky Saints in the parking lot getting jumped by Joe Hendry! Security breaks them up and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Shiloh Hill is interviewed backstage.

He says his mind is racing but he’s done his research and watched about every one of Ethan Page’s matches.

Hank and Tank roll up to give him a pep talk and he says it’s like quantum physics and he and the title share a destiny now and there’s only one outcome– Shiloh Hill, North American Champion!

Joe Hendry makes his entrance and calls Ricky Saints out.

He’s not in a singing mood, he’s not in a dancing mood, he’s in a mood to kick Ricky Saints around the whole damn arena!

Enter Ricky Saints, making his way to the promo balcony.

He chides Hendry for attacking him in the parking lot and says he’s got it real twisted, standing there with the championship when he stole it from Ricky, but nobody says anything because they like Joe Hendry. It doesn’t matter how good you are in wrestling these days, as long as you have a song to sing and you make the fans feel like they’re part of the show, but he sees through that.

Hendry brings NXT down several notches, and NXT has a meme as a champion now. From superstar to social media star, and we’re supposed to be okay with that? Hendry says he deals in facts and the fact is, he’s something Ricky is not– NXT Champion– and that makes him the best in NXT.

Saints says he’s the best at marketing and spun himself into a Royal Rumble appearance and WWE 2K26 DLC and criticizes him for not having style and giving fluff answers, when the real answer is Ricky Saints as NXT Champion. Joe calls him a whiny little bitch and Ricky challenges him to a title match on March 7, and Hendry accepts the challenge!

Back from commercial we get a Culling promo video where Izzi Dame scoffs at Tatum Paxley’s attempts to convince everyone there’s some deeper version of her and says she’s keeping her title while the boys say they’re winning the tag titles and Niko Vance says he has to be a variable no one can account for.

Cutler James vs. Tony D’Angelo

D’Angelo right in with strikes in the corner, putting boots to him, boot up from James, uppercut into the corner, kicks, Hot Shot sends Tony reeling! Shoulder blocks in the corner, D’Angelo fires back with body blows, whip to the cortner, lariat, German suplex! Another German suplex, a third, off the ropes, Cutler cuts him off but gets dropped with a spinebuster…

Tony D’Angelo wins by pinfall with a spinebuster.

Post-match, Dion Lennox attacks D’Angelo from behind and clubs him with lariats! Tony comes back, lariats, sending Lennox and James both to the floor, ramming Dion into the barricade! He throws Dion into the steel steps, overturns them, scoop and a slam right in front of the bottom step, D’Angelo picks up the top and Cutler barely saves his pal from becoming a stairs sandwich as referees break it up!

“All Ego” Ethan Page gives the Vanity Project a pep talk backstage when Myles Borne rolls up.

Page says he knew Borne would come to chat and says he’s never gonna change his mind and give him a shot at his title, because he’s given him enough advice. Myles asks if he got it right that there’s no way to convince him to get a title shot, Ethan says yes, and Borne leaves, saying he’ll see about that and cold shouldering Ricky Saints on his way out.

Saints comes in and chats and says Myles is rude and they’re all gonna be champions once Swipe Right win the tag titles and he wins the big one.

OTM and Swipe Right make their entrances to send us to break.

Hank and Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) vs. the Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) (NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match)

Back and forth feeling out, Smokes getting worked over by Nima, Ledger tags in on Bronco, Ricky cuts him off, Tank blasts him with an elbow, tag to Walker, scoop and a slam, finally Smokes tags out to Vance and Hank tags out to Price! Big men shoulder blocks, OTM clear the ring with shoulder blocks, Swipe Right try and fail to attack them from behind!

OTM send Swipe Right into the crush with stereo chokeslams over the ropes and send us to break in the process!

Back from commercial, chaos reigns, Price throws Baylor into Smokes on the floor! Vance headbutts Walker in the ring, tag to Tank, OTM hit the ring and tag in on Ledger and lay Niko out with the double back suplex… EVERYBODY ELSE BREAKS IT UP! All eight men up on the turnbuckles, superplexes in quadruplicate and everybody is down and out!

In the aftermath, Spears pulls out ahead, C4 on Brad Baylor… JACKSON DRAKE BREAKS IT UP AND OTM TAKE HIM AND SPEARS OUT BOTH! Hank and Tank put OTM through the announce desk! Baylor drags Shawn back inside and covers him…

Swipe Right win by pinfall with a lateral press from Brad Baylor on Shawn Spears, becoming #1 contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship.

We get a hype reel for Keanu Carver about how he liked football because it was an excuse to crush people.

Backstage, Robert Stone chats with Joe Hendry, saying Ricky Saints has been escorted out of the building and he has to ask Joe to leave too.

Sol Ruca comes over asking where Zaria is, Stone doesn’t know but Zaria is right over there.

Unfortunately she doesn’t want to see Sol and complains that their friendship has been one-sided and she’s done and tells Ruca to go to hell to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Fatal Influence make their entrance.

Jacy Jayne gets on the mic and says everybody is thinking she’s here to complain about defending her title against Sol Ruca next week but actually she’s looking forward to it and she’s gonna be vulnerable with all of us. If she’s being honest with herself, she’s extremely jealous of Sol, because no matter what she does or has been through or how many times she’s fallen and picked herself back up.

No matter what, everyone still looks her dead in the face and says Ruca is a bigger star than she is. Last year she held the TNA Knockouts Championship and NXT Women’s Championship at the same time, and she beat Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT title, and she’s walking into WrestleMania as champ.

Fallon Henley says Sol can’t be the bigger star because Jacy is the reigning, defending champoinship, and Jayne says she had to sit at home and watch Saturday Night’s Main Event the night of John Cena’s last match and who represented the women of NXT on that show? Not her, but Sol Ruca. And then she got the call that she was gonna be in the Royal Rumble and on the flight home all she heard was how Sol was in the final three.

She says Ruca has been shoved down everyone’s throat all year and enough is enough. She didn’t win the title for being able to flip every five seconds, but because she’s the best woman in NXT, and if we’re gonna be honest, the most underrated woman in all of WWE.

She’s heard enough and to be honest, she agrees with Jacy– nobody is more envious of other people’s accomplishments than she is, and she might be champion, but she’s still the same old Jacy Jayne. Sometimes she wonders what it’d be like if she stopped comparing herself to everyone else. Jayne says surely now Sol is realizing what she’s learned long ago– to get ahead you have to dump your best friend, because there’s only room for one at the top.

But Sol has no chance without Zaria. Ruca says friends are allowed to fight and Zaria doesn’t stand in her shadow, something Jacy never managed. Now she has her little group and her title but that’s not enough is it? Next week, Sol is gonna smash her soul and take her title, and when she beats her, that’s gonna confirm what everyone knows deep down inside– Sol Ruca is better than Jacy Jayne.

Jayne slaps her across the face and Fatal Influence beats Ruca down!

Zaria rushes to ringside but gestures for the Fatals to hold Sol up… AND SPEARS FALLON HENLEY INSTEAD! Fallon and Lainey end up on the floor and Zaria throws Jacy into them before turning around and offering Sol a hand and helping her to her feet… AND THEY HUG!

Sean Legacy, Eli Knight, and Elio Lafleur are chatting backstage and give each other a pep talk ahead of Eli and Elio meeting in the Speed tournament finals, sending us to break.

Eli Knight vs. Elio Lafleur (WWE Speed Men’s Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Finals)

Fast-paced out the gates, fighting over a suplex and they spill over the ropes and to the floor, Lafleur with a kick, Orihara moonsault misses, Eli lands and Asai moonsault but lands bad on his leg and comes up lame! Back inside, springboard leg drop, cover… NOPE! Frankensteiner countered, trading pinning predicaments, no falls!

Final minute, Eli springboard, countered, land on his feet, superkick, springboard countered to a Liger Bomb… STILL NO! Lafleur charges in, blocked, big palm strikes, rocking each other, out to the apron, thirty seconds, diving reverse STO, Elio off the top, nobody home on the 450 splash, Knight with the busaiku knee, up top, ten seconds, Lafleur crotches him, belly-to-belly superplex…

The match goes to a time-limit draw.

Post-match, Robert Stone comes down to rule on the situation. Normally he says this would lead to Jasper Troy retaining the WWE Speed Men’s Championship by forfeit, but instead he’s gonna do something new– triple threat title match next week, and since there’s three competitors, the match will have a seven minute time limit!

Shiloh Hill is pacing backstage getting himself fired up when Myles Borne walks past.

Hill flags him down, Borne snaps at him, and Shiloh asks him to stay out of his title match and promises him a title match when he wins. Myles says it has to be Ethan Page and they talk trash at each other until referees break it up and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Uriah Connors is trying to recruit Charlie Dempsey for his stable with Lexis King on the strength of their three fathers’ relationships, but Dempsey is skeptical.

King, Stacks, and Arianna Grace roll up. Lexis asks how it’s going and Uriah says Charlie is thinking about it. King tells Connors he’ll have a chance to prove himself next week, and Uriah points out Stacks didn’t have to prove himself, but Arianna Grace smooths it over by talking about how she proved herself by winning the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Robert Stone is chatting with Fallon Henley when Blake Monroe rolls up to make things about her.

Stone says Jaida Parker is suspended and Blake turns nice, at which point Robert says Parker isn’t cleared and he’s starting to think she got hurt on purpose. He further says he needs another wrestler for the women’s Speed tournament and says Monroe is in… and she’s got Thea Hail in the first round next week.

“All Ego” Ethan Page makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Cutler James and Dion Lennox are licking their wounds when Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars roll up to give them a pep talk about how Darkstate run the place and so on.

Sol Ruca and Zaria are backstage elsewhere. Zaria apologizes for what she said earlier and said she’s just frustrated things haven’t been the same since Sol got hurt, and she has to admit the solution is for Ruca to win the title.

Myles Borne walks past and says he knows what he needs to do now.

“All Ego” Ethan Page (c) vs. Shiloh Hill (NXT Men’s North American Championship)

Feeling out, Hill working a hammerlock, keeping Page from reversing it, finally Ethan gets the ropes to force the break. A shoving match breaks out, Shiloh sends All Ego to the floor where he grabs a chair from near the timekeeper. Hill slides out as he slides in and grabs the chair. Back inside, Page with a side headlock, go-behind, champion with a shoulder armbreaker.

Back and forth, the Vanity Project come to ringside and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Page with a front chancery, Hill rams him into the corner, back body drop puts him on the apron, up top, Ethan cuts him off with a right hand and a headbutt! Up top, side headlock, punching away, avalanche powerslam… NO DEAL! Out to the floor, back and forth, Shiloh breaks the count, Page back in with him.

Champion closes on him in the corner, Hill with a double leg into mounted punches, Page ducks under, Codebreaker connects! Shiloh takes his tooth out, fired up, blocking punches, throwing ‘em back, right hands taking All Ego off his feet, off the ropes, big pounce! Ricky Smokes runs interference, Hill goes to the floor to take each of the Vanity Project out in turn!

Tossing back suplex puts Jackson Drake into the announce desk, Page slips out behind him and hits Twisted Grin! Back inside, another…

“All Ego” Ethan Page wins by pinfall with Twisted Grin, retaining the NXT Men’s North American Championship.

Post-match, Myles Borne comes down and cleans out the Vanity Project! Hill back on his feet… TOPE CON GIRO!

Borne, meanwhile, is punching All Ego in the face and asking what it’s gonna take to get another title match! Shiloh slides a chair in and Myles wraps it around Page’s leg! Ethan remains defiant, Borne jumps… AND ALL EGO GIVES HIM THE MATCH NEXT WEEK! MYLES PILLMANIZES HIS LEG ANYWAY!

That’s the show, folks.
