NY Rangers Game 35 Open Thread: Rangers vs Vancouver

The Rangers lost to Anaheim last night, again scoring just one goal at MSG, bringing their record to 1-2-0 during this soft spot in the schedule. Now the retooling Vancouver Canucks, fresh off trading Quinn Hughes to Minnesota for Marco Rossi and Zeev Buium, are in town as the Rangers try to salvage something before heading to St. Louis later this week. The Rangers need points, but to get points they need goals. When five top players with a combined $41 million in cap space have just 43 goals through 34 games, it doesn’t matter what the rest of the lineup does.
