Esports betting solutions company Oddin.gg announced this week that it has been granted a sports betting vendor license in the state of Maryland. This is a bit of a milestone for the company, as its new Maryland license represents the company’s seventh such license in North America.
Oddin.gg said in its announcement that the Maryland license adds to Oddin.gg’s existing market access, which already included Arizona, New Jersey, Colorado, West Virginia, Ohio, and Ontario, Canada. Oddin.gg added that Maryland’s sports betting market saw bettors wagering over $6.6 billion USD in 2025.
Approximately 23% of US sports bettors place wagers on esports, with North America accounting for more than 40% of global esports betting revenue in 2024, according to data provided by Oddin.gg.
