ON THE ROAD – FIAT IRELAND ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF RTÉ’S WINTER OLYMPIC COVERAGE FOR MILANO CORTINA 2026 – Motorsport.ie

Fiat Ireland has announced its role as the official sponsor of RTÉ’s Winter Olympic coverage on RTÉ Player for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, taking place from 6 to 22 February 2026. The partnership will give the brand prominent visibility with Irish audiences during one of the year’s biggest global sporting events.

RTÉ Player will serve as Ireland’s home of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Two dedicated Winter Olympic channels will broadcast live from 9 am to 11 pm every day, offering extensive coverage including all major sessions and every ceremony so fans can follow the action as it unfolds.

As part of the sponsorship, 10-second Fiat branded stings will appear ahead of every live stream across both RTÉ Player Olympic channels. This activity not only reaches a large national audience but also represents a natural fit for Fiat, as the Winter Olympics mark the first major Games coverage in Ireland since Fiat Ireland became the official car partner to Team Ireland.

Team Ireland will have four athletes competing across alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and freestyle skiing. The contingent includes:

Cormac Comerford (Alpine skiing)

Anabelle Zurbay (Alpine skiing)

Thomas Maloney Westgård (Cross-country skiing)

Ben Lynch (Freestyle skiing . Halfpipe)

Their events take place throughout the Games from 7 to 21 February, with the Opening Ceremony on 6 February and the Closing Ceremony on 22 February.

Fiat Ireland looks forward to supporting Team Ireland’s athletes and celebrating their achievements on the international stage during Milano Cortina 2026.
