One backstage interview segment on the Feb. 18 Dynamite brought news about two former AEW Women’s world champions.
It was the first we’ve really seen of Kris Statlander since the previous Wednesday’s episode, when she dropped the AEW Women’s World championship to Thekla in a strap match. That apparently took its toll, because early in the interview Renee Paquette revealed that Stat isn’t cleared. It sounds pretty minor and/or precautionary though, because the timeframe Paquette offered for how long the Cosmic Killer will be was roughly “one-to-two weeks”.
Thunder Rosa was welcomed back right after Stat said that not being cleared wouldn’t stop her from getting her hands on Thekla, whenever she comes out of hiding (the new champ wasn’t on last night’s show, for whatever reason). Rosa last worked All In Texas weekend last July, but she’s been around. Now she’s cleared. La Mera Mera’s been announced for a match against Julia Hart on Collision Saturday; long-term she’s also gunning for Hart’s Triangle of Madness teammate, and the Toxic Spider’s belt.
