ONE Championship returns to the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on April 3 with another action-packed showcase as ONE Friday Fights 149 takes center stage during Asia primetime.
The event will feature rising stars from around the world competing under Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA rules, with many fighters chasing a life-changing US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship — the largest martial arts organization in the world.
Tomyamkoong Bhumjaithai Headlines Against Bejenuta Maximus
The main event features a flyweight Muay Thai showdown between Thailand’s Tomyamkoong Bhumjaithai and Moldovan newcomer Bejenuta Maximus.
Tomyamkoong enters the bout riding a two-fight winning streak and is closing in on the coveted six-figure ONE contract. Known for his aggressive striking and durability, the Thai fighter will look to continue his momentum in front of the passionate Bangkok crowd.
Standing across from him is debuting striker Bejenuta Maximus, an explosive kickboxer recognized for his sharp footwork and creative combinations. The Moldovan prospect hopes to make an immediate impact in his promotional debut and derail Tomyamkoong’s run.
Co-Main Event: Isannuea vs Khunpon in Flyweight Muay Thai Clash
The co-main event features another compelling flyweight Muay Thai matchup as Isannuea Sor Sasiwat faces rising Thai star Khunpon Aekmuangnon.
Isannuea has built a reputation as a relentless clinch specialist, using pressure and close-range strikes to wear down opponents. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Khunpon enters the bout riding a five-fight winning streak, armed with one of the most dangerous southpaw body kicks in the division.
The Inner Circle Card Adds Exclusive Matchups
Prior to ONE Friday Fights 149, an exclusive preliminary card will stream for members of The Inner Circle.
In the featured bout, Thailand’s Kaotaem Fairtex will face Spain’s Xavier Gonzalez in a flyweight Muay Thai contest.
Kaotaem, a Road to ONE tournament winner, brings explosive southpaw striking into the matchup, while Gonzalez counters with high-volume aggression and forward pressure. The Spanish fighter has lived and trained in Thailand since 2019 and will look to score a statement victory on the global stage.
The Inner Circle co-main event will see veteran Aekkalak Sor Samarngarment battle rising talent Dokmaipa Santiubon in a strawweight Muay Thai clash.
The matchup pits Aekkalak’s experience against Dokmaipa’s technical southpaw striking, setting the stage for another exciting contest between two Thai standouts.
