And one of the most impressive jumps we’ve ever seen
A couple of months ago, during the women’s competition in the Red Bull Rampage, MBA’s senior editor and staff photographer John Ker was watching the event on Red Bull’s channel and he decided to do some screen-grabs of some of the action with his computer. One of those screengrabs was this image of Camila Nogueira taking a huge drop during her run:
We don’t recall seeing any photos of her jump from the photographers at the site that showed the height and length of the jump as well as the camera angle captured in the video. We think that it was probably shot from a helicopter or a drone. As best we recall, not a single woman crashed in their Rampage finals, and we seem to recall that they all rode to the finish line without any injuries, so Cami must have stuck her landing without any problems and finished her run unscathed. We don’t recommend that anyone else attempts to complete jumps like this one. It looks incredibly dangerous. We’re just happy that Cami pulled it off.
