If you didn’t already know, Otso Cycles‘ Fenrir Ti is a titanium bikepacking frame designed to handle extended backcountry adventures. It’s extremely versatile, offering riders multiple setup configurations, including rigid or suspension forks and drop or flat handlebars. Well, today, Otso launches the next generation of the Fenrir Ti.
If you were a fan of the previous version, rest assured: Osto tells us it’s essentially the same bike, just improved to accommodate more drivetrain options and update the look a bit. Let’s take a look.

Setup Options
The Fenrir Ti is a bike that can be built with drop bars to crush some gravel or set up with a flat mountain bike handlebar for a more rugged off-road experience. With drop bars, Ostso says the Fenrir Ti “rides like an extra-capable gravel bike.” Otso recommends a short 50mm stem for drop bars to accommodate the frame’s longer reach measurement. With a flat bar, Otso says it “rides like a 90s XC bike. It’s fun and lively, yet efficient and Capable with a capital C.”
Like the previous version, you can also pick your fork preference. It comes with a rigid carbon Lithic Mountain fork, but is compatible with suspension forks with up to 120mm of travel. The rigid fork gives you extra mounting options, with three-pack braze-ons on the fork legs.

The Fenrir Ti’s frame can accommodate tires up to 29″ x 2.6″ or 27.5″ x 2.8″, and it includes multiple mounting points on the downtube, seat tube, and rear triangle for bags and racks to carry gear on multi-day adventures. Otso conveniently lists compatible racks and frame bag dimensions on its website, so you don’t have to guess or figure it out yourself.

One thing Otso claims makes the Fenrir Ti a great bikepacking rig is its stability when fully loaded with gear. Instability while fully laden is a common problem area for many bikes, but the forgiving Ti frame and bikepacking-oriented geometry are intended to keep that from being an issue.

The Frame Details
The Fenrir Ti’s frame is built using 3Al/2.5V B338 grade 9 titanium, which brings the large-sized frame weight down to 1,923 grams, about 30% lighter than the steel Fenrir. At the same time, the titanium tubing provides a smooth ride, durability, and timeless elegance — it really does look good.

It features practical geometry with a 68° head tube angle and 75° seat tube angle. Other measurements worth noting are 445mm chainstays across all sizes, along with 68mm of bottom-bracket drop for stability. Reach measurements are on the conservative side, which is in line with the bike’s intended use, with 428mm on size large. The Fenrir Ti is offered in four frame sizes, S to XL, and is claimed to fit riders between 5’3″ and 6’6″.

UDH Dropout
The latest generation Fenrir Ti adds 3D-printed titanium UDH rear dropouts, making it compatible with all modern drivetrain systems. The previous Tuning Chip dropout wasn’t compatible with UDH drivetrains, so this update opens up more component options. The move to a UDH dropout does away with the Otso’s hallmark Tuning Chip, however, so the frame does not offer the rear center/wheelbase length adjustability of its predecessor. Fenrir Ti frames with the Tuning Chip are still available from Otso and are currently on sale.


As mentioned previously, the Fenrir Ti comes with a carbon Lithic Mountain Fork that includes gear mounting points and an adjustable rake system. It’s also compatible with internally routed dropper posts, if that’s your preference. Otso’s custom bike builder lets you choose everything from handlebar type and wheel size to drivetrain components and anodized color accents. This allows riders to tailor the build to their specific riding style, adventure needs, and personal aesthetic.
