Our 10 Best Left Handed Golf Clubs & Sets

Our 10 Best Left Handed Golf Clubs & Sets

Growing up, I had a left-handed friend who learned to play with right-handed clubs because the cost was too high. He was a natural sportsman and managed to work his way down to single figures as a right-hander, but fortunately, the market is stacked with golf clubs for lefties in 2025. From complete sets and irons to wedges, putters, and metals, senior left-hand golfers can find what you need without breaking the bank.

I’ll warn you that some brands like Mizuno and Miura limit the number of player’s style irons available for lefties, but most of the other manufacturers keep things pretty fair.

In collaboration with our Senior Golf Source community, we’ve identified the top picks for the Phil Mickelson-like players to get around the course. Here are the best left handed golf clubs and sets.

Best Left Handed Golf Club Set

The Callaway XR Package set is a relatively new release to the market, and it has proven to be a really impressive choice. Luckily it’s also available in a left hand model! The Callaway XR Package set comes with everything necessary to succeed on the golf course.

This is the one I like for golfers with a little more experience. If you have increased clubhead speed and want a high performing 460cc driver, this set will do it. In addition, the versatile hybrids blend right into the irons.

I’ve always thought that Callaway irons were a little on the bulky side, and these are. However, the golf wedges are clean looking and allow for different types of shot around the green.

What’s Included: Driver, 3 Wood, 4 Hybrid, 5 Hybrid, 6-PW, SW Irons, Odyssey DFX Putter, Callaway Stand Bag, and golf club headcovers

  • Driver with high speed face
  • Hyper Face channel for extra ball speed on hybrids
  • Great spin on the wedges
  • Two different shaft flex options
  • Best left-handed golf clubs full set
  • Priced higher than other package sets
  • Irons are still a little bulky looking

Best Budget Left Handed Golf Club Set

Wilson Profile Stand Bag Package Set - 11 Piece SetWilson Profile Stand Bag Package Set - 11 Piece Set

A complete set of clubs for under $600 is the perfect entry point into golf for beginner players.

The Wilson Profile package sets you up with a 460cc driver with an expanded sweet spot to forgive those wide mishits. Our community liked the low CG fairway woods because they launched high off the deck and were slick.

Onto the shorter clubs, the irons and wedges were plenty forgiving, but aren’t the best feeling clubs. The opposite can be said for the putter. It’s a budget option, but the ball rolled smoothly off the face.

Why it’s great for lefties

  • Designed specifically for beginners & returning golfers
  • High-launching woods and hybrids make long shots easier.
  • Forgiving cavity-back irons boost consistency.
  • Comes with a stylish stand bag & matching headcovers

What’s included
Driver, 5W, 5H, 6-9 irons, PW, SW, putter, stand bag, headcovers

Best Left Handed Golf Club Set for Seniors

Tour Edge Bazooka 370 Complete Golf Club Set in blue and black colorsTour Edge Bazooka 370 Complete Golf Club Set in blue and black colors

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 is the best complete set for left handed senior golfers. With the 370, you get lots of forgiveness, plenty of distance, and a really fair price for the clubs. I’m impressed with the 460cc titanium matrix driver.

In addition, the irons are really forgiving. I don’t love the 5 iron; I would rather it was a 5 hybrid.

However, the lightweight senior graphite shaft makes it player friendly.

The Ping Anser style putter is nice looking, easy to line up, and can help with consistency in the stroke. Overall between the forgiveness and playability and the overall design, this Bazooka 370 is a great solution for any left handed senior player.

What’s Included: Driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 4 hybrid, 5-SW, putter, and cart golf bag

Best Left Handed Golf Clubs for Beginners

Strata Men's Ultimate Complete Golf Club Set in blue and blackStrata Men's Ultimate Complete Golf Club Set in blue and black

I can’t tell you that I think the Callaway Strata are the best complete set on the market, but they certainly hold their own if you are on a budget or are a new player. My mom has these clubs (in the women’s version), and I was tempted to see how they would compare to the top-of-the-line Callaway clubs.

Where you see the biggest difference is in feel and total distance. However, the Strata set is very forgiving, has a great set makeup (they include the SW in the Ultimate model), and the golf ball is easy to get off the ground.

Over time, you will probably upgrade pieces of this set, but it makes a great starting point.

What’s Included: Driver, 3 Wood, 4 Hybrid, 5 Hybrid, 6-9 Iron, PW, SW, Putter, Stand Bag, 4 Headcovers

  • Comes with a lightweight and nice quality stand bag
  • The Ultimate set does have a sand wedge included
  • Two hybrids that have easy launch capability and plenty of distance
  • Feel is not great
  • Clubs are very lightweight, not a great fit for faster swing speeds

Best Left Handed Driver for Seniors

Callaway Elyte Max FastCallaway Elyte Max Fast

Lightweight components, a technologically advanced face, provide senior left-handers with more speed off the tee.

The lighter design is a pleasure to release at the top of the swing, generating more pace on the way down, while the Ai 10x face boosts ball speed at the impact. The result is an easier launching driver that goes the distance for golfers over 50.

For those with faster swing speeds, you may want to opt for a heavier shaft.

Highlights

  • Lightweight shaft + grip = faster swings
  • Aerodynamic head shape for more speed
  • Ai10x Face keeps off-center shots straighter.
  • Carbon crown improves launch & spin efficiency.

Best Left Handed Fairway Woods

TaylorMade Qi35 MaxTaylorMade Qi35 Max

If your fairway metal game struggles, you’ll need maximum forgiveness, which the TaylorMade Qi35 Max provides in abundance.

It carries a large profile, which might be off-putting for some, but just remember, what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in leniency.

Its Thru-Slot Speed Pocket increases face flex to improve contact, while the twist face stabilizes the club at impact.

Technology that helps

  • Multi-material construction boosts forgiveness.
  • Largest and most confidence-inspiring address profile in the Qi lineup
  • Twist Face tech corrects mishits for straighter ball flight.
  • Adjustable loft sleeve to dial in launch

  • Speed Pocket technology is still in place
  • Carbon crown (not face) for added forgiveness
  • Lower center of gravity than previous models, higher ball flight
  • The face is not carbon, so it feels a bit different than the Stealth 2 driver

Best Left Handed Hybrid

Ping G440Ping G440

A high-launching club that prompts soft landings on approach is a secret weapon for senior golfers.

The Ping G440 hybrid carries a shallower face than usual, helping players to hit the ball higher on the face, producing more spin and launch. A higher flying ball lands sharply, causing it to stop quickly.

Why it works

  • Shallower, thinner face for higher launch + more speed
  • Lower CG increases stopping power.
  • Adjustable hosel lets you fine-tune trajectory.
  • Multiple lofts available with fade-or-draw bias depending on the number
  • Multiple lofts and highly adjustable
  • Composite crown and lower center of gravity
  • High ball speeds and lower spin
  • If you need a budget f-iendly alternative, you’ll want to look at the G430

Best Left Handed Irons

What I love best about the Ping G440 Irons is that they are truly for all players.

The G440 range is attractive for game improvement irons, and they’re loaded with forgiveness.

A flexible clubface gives that extra oomph at impact to increase ball speed, while the perimeter weighting clubface increases the active zone for more consistency on bad shots.

A bonus is the lower CG, which encourages an elevated launch on approach.

Performance benefits

  • Thinner face = faster ball speeds
  • Low/back CG increases height and distance.
  • High MOI for straighter results on mishits
  • Premium appearance & satisfying sound at impact
  • Easy to hit with thinner face
  • Controllable landing angle
  • Solid but pure feel at impact
  • Won’t be as forgiving as some other game improvement options

Best Left Handed Golf Wedges

Cleveland RTX Zipcore WedgeCleveland RTX Zipcore Wedge

It must be a little easier for golf manufacturers to come up with options for left handed players’ wedges. I found no shortage of left handed options, but the Cleveland RTX 6 Zipcore stood out as the overall best left handed wedge.

What I love about Zipcore is the ability to stop the ball, regardless of the playing conditions.

The HydraZIp face helps when you are playing out of wet turf and adjusts to the conditions that you are dealing with.

I like to feel in control with a wedge in my hands, regardless of condition, and this ZipCore material lets me feel that way. I also loved that Cleveland incorporated a bit of extra forgiveness into the clubhead.

Standout features

  • HydraZip face texture generates extra spin.
  • UltiZip grooves are deeper & sharper.
  • ZipCore increases stability and feel
  • Three sole grind options based on swing style

If you want to save strokes around the green, start here.

  • Playable out of any condition
  • UltiZip and Hydra Zip groove technology
  • Impressive greenside spin

Best Left Handed Putter

Like mad scientists, the team at L.A.B Golf has produced a premium-quality putter for lefties in the form of the DF3.

Avoid bending your back to retrieve the ball, pop the “Gimme Getter” on the sole over the ball, and lift it.

Quirky add-ons aside, the aluminum milled face gives a pure feel and roll, which will never get old.

One downside to this gem is the premium price tag.

Why lefties should try it

  • Lie Angle Balance = “automatic” putter path
  • Ultra-forgiving on mishits
  • Ball-pickup design (“Gimme Getter”) built into the head
  • Clean look and premium feel off the face
  • Love the look and feel
  • Easy to pick up
  • Mallet putter design is not for everyone
  • You’ll pay a pretty penny

Guide to Buying the Best Clubs For Lefties

I’ve given you the best left handed golf clubs on the market, but you now need to fine-tune these to work for your needs. Here are some of the things I suggest you consider before purchasing your left handed golf clubs.

Key Differences Between Right and Left Handed Clubs

There are very few differences between golf clubs for left handed players and right handed players. The biggest issue you will find is availability.

I saw it myself when I was testing and researching for this article. Sometimes you will find a golf hybrid that has 6 lofts for a right handed golfer and only 3 for a lefty. This can be limiting at times, but the disparity between left and right handed golf clubs has tightened through the years.

Buying a Full Set of Clubs or Individual Clubs

A golf club set is an affordable way to replace all of your golf clubs at once. However, this type of purchase is recommended more for the higher handicap players or beginners.

The customization in these sets is limited, and the overall clubhead and shaft style is for forgiveness, not accuracy and alignment.

What About Players Blades?

Player blades can be hard to find for left handed golfers. I would consider one of the irons in the new Titleist T series; in addition, Ping has some irons that can have great feel and workability.

Other Factors To Consider

When choosing the correct left handed golf clubs for your game, pay very close attention to the shaft options. Left handed clubs have both graphite and steel shafted options. The shaft you chose should match your clubhead speed and your ability level.

Testing Lefty Golf Clubs

I’m not a lefty golfer, but I tested these models in the right handed versions to get an idea as to what the feel and features are like. I can tell you that I’m noticing less and less difference from one year to the next when it comes to new releases from golf manufacturers.

For instance, the Ping G430 and Ping G440 are similar. If you tested clubs last year but are now ready for your upgrade, you can choose something along the lines of what you tested and still have great luck.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all golf clubs available in left handed models?

Every golf manufacturer handles left handed golf clubs differently. Some produce their entire line in left handed versions; however, most eliminate a few of the models and only make the core clubs available for left handed players. The manufacturing process of left handed golf clubs is different from right handed, so limiting the options can make the manufacturers more profitable.

Are all women’s left handed golf clubs the same size?

On occasion, you will find a women’s left handed set that is offered in petite or tall, but for the most part, standard size is the option. You can order custom women’s left handed clubs to fine-tune the golf equipment to your needs.

Why are there so few lefties in golf?

Many people choose to play as right handed golfers even if they are natural left handers. Finding equipment for left handed golfers can be more difficult, and many golf courses are built to accommodate and even challenge right handed players.

Final Thoughts on the Best Left Handed Golf Clubs

Golf manufacturers have done well over the last 30 years to make left-handed golf clubs more affordable and accessible. Whether you’re a beginner in need of a complete package or an experienced hand building your own set, the options are immense.

Fortunately, we’ve done the hard yards for you and provided the best options for our lefty friends.
