Micah Parsons has been in the long and often frustrating process of rehabilitation after a devastating injury ended his 2025 season prematurely. The Green Bay Packers star pass rusher suffered a torn ACL in Week 15 during a loss to the Denver Broncos, a non-contact left knee injury that immediately ruled him out for the remainder of the year and has kept him focused on recovery ever since.
Parsons had been having an All-Pro type season, finishing with 12.5 sacks, 26 quarterback hits and 41 tackles before the injury, but his absence was felt as the Packers failed to advance past the wild card round.

Parsons’ recovery has been of utmost priority for the Packers this offseason as the 26-year-old commits to the rehab process day after day.
On Tuesday, he provided an update via his X account, celebrating a milestone in his recovery:
“I just hit my two-month mark a few days ago! I’m so blessed, brother! I’m walking and moving on my own again! God is amazing,” Parsons said in response to a fan.

The news will be encouraging for Packers fans and teammates, as it shows Parsons is making measurable strides toward getting back on the field.
Parsons is expected to be a cornerstone of the defense once healthy. His return timeline isn’t official yet, but the fact that he’s walking and moving independently marks a significant step forward after a serious injury that once threatened to keep him sidelined well into next season.
Parsons’ journey in Green Bay began in August 2025, when the Packers traded for him in a blockbuster deal with the Dallas Cowboys that included defensive tackle Kenny Clark and multiple first-round draft picks.
Upon arriving in Wisconsin, he immediately agreed to a four-year, $188 million contract, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history and signaling Green Bay’s belief that he would be a cornerstone of their defense for years to come.
