The Green Bay Packers are on the hunt for some pass rusher help going into the 2026 season. Micah Parsons is expected to miss approximately the first month of the year while he recovers from his late-season ACL tear. Rashan Gary was traded away to the Dallas Cowboys in return for a fourth round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
That leave Lukas Van Ness and Barryn Sorrell as Green Bay’s likely top two pass rushers entering week one (pending the NFL Draft). As fate would have it, New Orleans Saints’ legendary pass rusher Cam Jordan is a free agent for the first time in his career (15 seasons). Just last year the 36-year-old finished with 10.5 sacks on the year.
That prompted one Green Bay fan to reach out to him on social media, and he actually responded.

Cameron Jordan’s Response To Packers Fan Goes Viral
Less than one month before the 2026 NFL Draft, a Packers fan who goes by the handle GBP Trevor reached out to Jordan. Here was his response:
From the sounds of it, Green Bay isn’t on Jordan’s preferred list of teams in 2026. Throughout his legendary NFL career Cameron Jordan has logged 243 games with 242 starts. He also has 763 total tackles (494 solo), 132.0 career sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, and 17 forced fumbles.
Jordan also has three interceptions, 175 tackles for loss, and 248 quarterback hits. His accomplishments speak for themself. He would be a great addition to a team needing a veteran presence while Parsons gets healthy.

Many fans figure Green Bay has a plan for their lack of depth to start the year at the pass rusher spot. However, they’ll have to consider someone other than the Saints legend.
