Packers’ Legend Abruptly Sells Green Bay Home (Breaking News)

The Green Bay Packers have learned that one of their all-time legends has sold his home that is located just 15 minutes from Lambeau Field.  The news first went viral among Packers fans on Tuesday morning.

Many are rather surprised given how long he’s owned the home and how long it’s been since he has suited up for the team.  Here are the details.

Packers’ Legend Ahman Green Sells Home 15 Minutes From Lambeau Field

The Green Bay Packers’ all-time rushing leader Ahman Green sold his house at 1750 Limestone Trail in Ledgeview for $935,000:

Green initially listed the house in early 2023 for $1.9 million. He changed his real estate company earlier this year and relisted it for $978,000.

He owned two adjacent houses on Scray Hill. The other, at 1742 Limestone Trail, sold In July 2023 for $480,000, which was the list price. Green invested more than $1.3 million in the two properties, according to Brown County real estate and mortgage records.

The 7,200-square-foot, three-story house at 1750 Limestone Trail includes five bedrooms, 4½ baths and a four-stall garage. It is on 1.21 acres, and according to the listing, a lighted Lambeau Field can be seen on gamedays. The house was built in 2004. 

Ahman Green’s Legacy With The Packers

Ahman Green is a household name in Green Bay who proved to be one of the best running backs in the NFL during the mid 2000s.  Specifically, he played for Green Bay from 2000 to 2006 and set numerous franchise records.  He has a total of 8,322 rushing yards in a Packers uniform and set the franchise record for yards in a single season (1,883) in 2003.  A record that still stands today. 

He also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks (two seasons before Green Bay) and the Houston Texans (two seasons after Green Bay).  He returned to Green Bay for one final season in 2009 but only appeared in 8 games.  Here is a look at his final career numbers:

While he made have sold his house, Green will always have a place at Lambeau Field.
