Packers See Odds Skyrocket That Tyreek Hill Will Join NFC North Rival (Report)

The Green Bay Packers have had some turnover at the wide receiver position this off-season.  Romeo Doubs signed a massive contract with the New England Patriots that will surely thrust Christian Watson/Jayden Reed into the #1 slot on the depth chart.  That also means Matthew Golden will likely get many more opportunities in year two.

The team also signed wide receiver Skyy Moore to their roster.  While Moore is a return specialist, it is possible he will see playing time at wide receiver if injuries occur.

However, their defense may have to line up against Tyreek Hill this upcoming season.  In fact, betting odds are through the roof that they will.

Odds Sky Rocket That Tyreek Hill Will Join Packers’ Division Rival

According to Poly Market the Chicago Bears have a 44% chance of signing Tyreek Hill.  Much higher than any other team in the NFL Currently.

Adding a veteran like Hill makes a lot of sense for a Chicago team who traded away superstar wide receiver DJ Moore earlier this off-season.  Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III are both young up and coming wide receivers for Chicago, but adding a veteran presence could go a long way.

Tyreek Hill’s time with the Dolphins came to a tough end after he suffered a devastating knee injury just four games into the 2025 season.  Hill’s agent has been adamant that the electric wide receiver will be ready for the start of the 2026 season, however, critics have their doubts.  Hill suffered a major knee injury that many think will take him longer than 12 months to recover from.  Regardless, the timetable suggests he should be able to play most of the 2026 season.

Tyreek Hill’s NFL Career And Stats

Hill was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 5th round (165th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of West Alabama.  He was known for his blazing speed and ability to make plays in the open field.  Over the next 10 years he would spend six with the Chiefs and four with the Miami Dolphins.  To date he has accumulated:

  • 145 career games (127 starts)
  • 819 receptions
  • 11,363 receiving yards
  • 83 receiving touchdowns
  • 114 rushing attempts
  • 819 rushing yards
  • 7 rushing touchdowns

If he is able to get healthy, the Packers may be seeing Hill twice in 2026.  The 32-year-old wide receiver has been adamant that he can still play at a high level going forward.
