England batters could not secure their way past the senior Pakistan spinner Noman Ali and Sajid Khan. England lost the Third Test by 9 wickets, resulting in losing the series as well.
As Pakistan win this Test series, they moved significantly in the race to the finals of World Test championship (WTC) 2023-25.
England is out from the race to the finals of the WTC. They have lost 9 out of 19 Tests played during the current cycle. Now, even if they win the next series against New Zealand, they will not be able to qualify for the finals.
Pakistan was in 8th place before this series win, have now moved up a spot and now sit at the 7th place because of their 4th win in 10 Tests.
The top position is secured by India, followed by Australia in the second, Sri Lanka at the third, South Africa at the fourth and New Zealand at the the fifth.
