Pakistan will be looking to bowl out England quickly

Pakistan ended the second day on a positive note and it was mainly thanks to spinner Sajid Khan who racked up 4 wickets which included the highly important scalps of Joe Root, Ben Duckett and Harry Brook.

England ended the day on 239/6 after 53 overs with wicketkeeper-batter Jamie Smith batting on 12 and Brydon Carse batting on 2. The visitors are still 127 runs behind the hosts’ first inning total of 366.

It will be interesting to see if Pakistan will be able to bundle out England during the first session of the third day itself. There is a possibility that Smith and Carse can put up a good partnership to carry England over Pakistan’s first inning total as both the players can bat well.
