Captain Oliver Peake remained not out with 62 runs off 113 balls, including eight fours and one six, while Alex Lee Young contributed 45 runs from 99 deliveries with six boundaries as they ended day two at the crease. The Australian innings got off to a rough start, losing both openers for just 22 runs within the first 10 overs, putting them in a difficult spot early on.

Shortly after, Simon Budge was bowled by Anmoljeet Singh for just five runs, leaving Australia struggling at 42/3. However, captain Oliver Peake helped stabilize the innings with a determined performance. He partnered with Alex Lee Young, who scored 45 runs off 99 balls.
