The Indian team is currently in Australia for Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25and are engaged in practice sessions at the WACA cricket stadium in Perth. Since the start of their training on Wednesday, the team has done a lot of hard work in the nets under the guidance of head coach Gautam Gambhir and the support staff.
During one of these sessions, players took a break to enjoy some light moments. Rishabh Pant went to the nets as a bowler, as he went against none other than Jasprit Bumrah. Both of them had a healthy exchange as Pant playfully challenged Bumrah and promised to get him out, even attempting a few bouncers for fun.

Virat Kohli had earlier spent a long session in the nets with other main batters. On Friday, the team took part in a match simulation and played an intra-squad game at WACA as a warm-up match.
Captain Rohit Sharma has not yet joined the squad since he is waiting on the birth of his second child. However, head coach Gautam Gambhir is optimistic that Rohit might join before the opening Test.
