Path of Exile 2’s newest patch, The Last of the Druids, finally hits the public servers on December 12. Alongside the addition of the much awaited Druid to the playable classes in this legendary ARPG, it will also bring with quality of life tweaks for players and even a customizable dungeon in the end-game for player specific grinding needs. The arrival of the patch also signals the start of a new League for Path of Exile 2 with a smorgasbord of new features that players can look forward to. But the star of the show in this patch is undoubtedly the Druid, which is a far cry from the traditional Druids that we’ve come accustomed to in video games.

Path of Exile 2’s druid allows players to transform into a fire-breathing wyvern. It’s basically a dragon but in name as you can sky into the air and rain fiery death upon your enemies and we are beyond excited to try it out. While the wyvern is surely going to be an instant favorite for the players, Druids still have the ability to go for the traditional transformation route with Bear Forms and Werewolf Forms.

The Bear is the tankiest option among the three and builds Rage (which allows Druids to cast abilities and gain buffs as well). The Bear comes with abilities that reduce enemy armor, as well as crowd control their enemies. Comboing the debuffs and tankiness of the Bear with Wyvern and Werewolf abilities is definitely the way to go.
Last but not the least is the Werewolf, the one built for speed as it slices and dices around the map. It draws on the moon to empower its attacks giving it extra cold damage to freeze and shatter their opponents. Its abilities are also further improved by Rage, which is generated from the bear form. ]
The Last of the Druids hits global servers officially on December 12, 1 PM CT. It comes with the new Fate of Vaal League, the new Talisman weapin, two new ascendancies, 21 new skills, more than 30 support skills, and so much more.
