Fans can expect to see Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding whenever it takes place.
The Kansas City Chiefs are cleaning house before the new league year starts. After entering the offseason $52.7 million over the cap, the Chiefs kicked things off by restructuring quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ contract, freeing up $43.6 million.
To rebuild around Mahomes after finishing 6-11 last season, the Chiefs also released multiple starters and pulled off a blockbuster trade.
Mahomes, of course, is working on getting healthy after undergoing surgery for an ACL and MCL tear in December. While he’s living in the training room, per Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, and gunning to be ready in Week 1, the three-time Super Bowl MVP is also spending quality time with his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and their three children, Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3, and Golden, 1.
Over the weekend, the couple left the kids at home to attend a wedding. While some fans initially thought it might be Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s big day, it was not.

Brittany and Patrick, both 30, turned heads at Kate Van Wyk’s nuptials, a close friend of the quarterback’s wife. On Saturday night, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit digital cover star wore a form-fitted maroon gown while Mahomes wore a black tuxedo.
Brittany posted multiple photos on her Instagram Stories and wrote in one slide, “2 things that aren’t normal over here.. I showed up early and this guy actually took photos 🤣🤍.”
Without knowing all the details, one woman asked, “Any specific wedding????” A Swiftie begged, “Who’s?? 😁,” hoping it was Kelce and Swift’s big day.
Another Swiftie assured, “Soon they’ll be uploading photos from the wedding of the year.” While details of Kelce and Swift’s wedding day remain under lock and key, fans can expect Mahomes and Brittany to be at the famous couple’s star-studded event.
Other online users simply applauded the couple’s good looks. One fan commented, “Gorgeous couple.” Another person gushed, “By the way the Mahomes fam cleans up NICE! 😌.” An X user posted, “Oh, Mahomes all cute without his crutches, that warms my heart.”
Patrick & Brittany Mahomes Went All Out to Celebrate Daughter Sterling’s 5th Birthday
There’s a lot to celebrate this offseason, as Mahomes and Brittany recently hosted a party for Sterling’s fifth birthday.
A few of their closest flew in for the festivities. Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, and half-sister, Mia, also attended the birthday party at Peppa Pig Theme Park in Dallas-Fort Worth. The big day included rides at the park, playground, and a Peppa Pig birthday cake. “It decided to be to cold today, but nothing stopped us,” Brittany captioned a selfie with Sterling on a roller coaster.
The family got a second cake at dinner. Brittany posted a photo of the dessert tray that read “Happy Birthday” in chocolate syrup and wrote, “Still can’t believe my baby girl is 5, very emotional over here” with a crying face emoji.
Randi Mahomes shared an Instagram tribute to her granddaughter and wrote, “Happy 5th Birthday to our sweet Sterling ❤️ Five years of big hugs and the kindest little heart. You made me a Grandi, and that will forever be one of my greatest blessings. Watching you grow into such a strong, smart, beautiful little girl has been the joy of my life!”
