Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) turned down the reports that have recently come out, suggesting that Jason Gillespie might get removed from his spot of the Pakistan men’s cricket team.
In between the people making guesses about him being removed, the PCB has come forward and addresses these rumours.
It was reported by ESPNcricinfo that Aaqib Javed might get considered for the position of all-format head coach for Pakistan team. However, the PCB did not take time to rule out these claims. In a statement shared on ‘X’, the board claimed these reports to be fake.
The board also added that Jason will still remain in charge, along with leading the team for the upcoming red-ball matches against South Africa.
PCB strongly refutes the story. As announced previously, Jason Gillespie will continue to coach the Pakistan side for the two red-ball matches against South Africa. https://t.co/J5MYKuq368
