The March 30 episode of WWE RAW rolled through MSG in NYC. The night was a big one on the road to WrestleMania, and that included booking a big title match.
Penta defended his title against Kofi Kingston this week on RAW. In the end, Penta retained his championship, but that wasn’t all.
After the match, Penta revealed that he has spoken to Adam Pearce about his WrestleMania match. He said that the title will hang above the ring, and they will have to fight for it. So far, Rusev, Dragon Lee, Je’Von Evans and JD McDonagh are already in the match.
Penta revealed that there will be a ladder match at WrestleMania. We will have to see how many participants they will cram into that match. The IC Title has seen a lot of men fight for that title at the show of shows in the past.
Only time will tell if Penta walks out of Vegas as WWE IC Champion. He certainly received a great ovation in NYC.
