WWE Monday Night RAW rolled into the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 2, 2026. That arena’s already seen its fair share of WWE history, and this show just added another chapter to it. With the IC Title on the line, anything was possible.
Dominik Mysterio beat John Cena for the IC Title at Survivor Series, but he hasn’t defended it since then. That streak changed this week on RAW as Dirty Dom put his title on the line against Penta.
This title match capped off the second hour of RAW on Netflix this week. Prior to the match, the Judgment Day had a run-in with Danhausen backstage, where he cursed Dirty Dom.
JD McDonagh and Finn Balor promised to be by Dominik Mysterio’s side during this match. Dom and Penta battled through a commercial break, and by the time we got back they were still having a back-and-forth contest in the middle of the ring.
Penta got a near fall off a backstabber, and the match continued. Dom nailed a 6-1-9, and then he went up top, but Penta caught him of the splash, and he nailed the Sacrifice on Dom. Then Penta nailed a Penta Driver for a very close near fall.
After Penta stomped Dom down in the corner and Mysterio was able to get out of it, he called for JD to get the ring bell hammer. Finn Balor stopped JD from giving him the hammer as he said Dom wanted to do it by himself. Then Penta hit a dive on JD and Finn.
They got back in the ring to finish the match as Penta nailed a Mexican Destroyer after avoiding a 6-1-9. Then Penta made the pinfall to pick up his first title in WWE.
