Hola a todxs and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review! Tonight CMLL had their annual all-women’s event with La Noche de las Amazonas! In the later part of the event, we had two crossover matches between AEW and CMLL and two title matches.
The first crossover match a one-on-one, was won by Mina Shirakawa against Zeuxis. The crowd showed their love for Mina throughout the match, which concluded with Zeuxis tapping out to Mina’s figure 4, regardless of the outcome Zeuxis made the CMLL proud even in defeat.
In one of the most anticipated matches of the night, Olympia had a one on one with Megan Bayne. The two powerhouses clashed in a showcase of strength which ultimately was won by the Megasus, Megan Bayne with both winning the mexican crowd over and their respect.
Las Chicas Indomables continued their year-round success as CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions with another win, this time defeating STARDOM’s Starlight Kid and Mei Seira. More in synced than ever the match was an impressive and fun performance from both ends.
In the Main Event of the Night, the CEO and CMLL World Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné defended her title against Persephone for a second time. Mercedes fought tooth and nail to keep her title, but Perse was determined to take her losses as lessons, winning the CMLL Title for the first time in her career in an excellent match.
