Luca Braidot and Simone Avondetto won the Elite Men’s category in Stage 5 of the Cape Epic on Friday, while Candice Lill and Alessandra Keller won the Elite Women’s category.

Felix Stehli, who was competing on the 32-inch wheeled bike, withdrew from the race on Friday due to illness.
