Pidcock looks to Milan Sanremo, Nokere Koerse

Tom Pidcock timed his attack inside the final kilometre to win the oldest semi-classic, Milano-Torino. On the steep slopes of Superga he rode aggressively opening a gap from a reduced lead group, that none of his rivals could close. Tobias Halland Johannessen took second place, while Primoz Roglic claimed third.

Pidcock struck the perfect balance between confidence and caution after his Milano-Torino victory, underlining both his form and the unpredictability that awaits at Milano-Sanremo (March 21).
