Players with 10000 Runs and 100 Wickets in ODI cricket

Playing the ODI format successfully requires a different set of skills as one needs to have a composure that is required for Test matches and attacking mindset as in the T20s. Though a team needs specialist batters and bowlers to do the job, player with all-round skills offer a different dimension to the squad.

It doesn’t necessarily mean an all-rounder who is expected to bat and bowl every game but one who can roll over the arm whenever required. This roughly means a top-order batter who can chip in with the ball whenever required by the team. While the art of batters rolling their arm over is dying currently in ODIs, it was a common fixture back in the glorious years of ODI cricket. The other thing is, it will be impractical for us to think that a middle-order batter who plays as an all-rounder will be able to achieve the 10K milestone in ODIs although, they can pick over 100 wickets.

So this article celebrates the cricketers who have not only consistently delivered for their respective nations not just with the bat but also were quite useful with the ball in hand. Here are the list of cricketers who have completed a stunning double 10000 runs and 100 wickets in ODI cricket.
