POTM Yashasvi Jaiswal reveals his plans that helped India win

The India tour of Zimbabwe started on 6 July with a T20 match between the two teams at Harare sports club. In the first match, Team India won the toss, yet lost the match by 13 runs. In the second match, India scored a whopping 234/2 in 20 overs. Zimbabwe got restricted to a total score of 134 runs, losing the match by a huge margin. In the 3rd match India scored 182/4 in the first innings. In the second innings, Zimbabwe scored 159/6, losing the match by 23 runs.

The fourth match was played at the same venue. However, there is a shift in the Indian team as Avesh Khan is no longer in today’s playing XI. India won the toss, and opted to bowl first. Zimbabwe scored 152/7 and the men in blue chased the score, getting 156/0 in 15.2 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal became the Player Of The Match.

India’s young player Yashasvi Jaiswal has stunned the audience with his epic performance today. It is not unknown how well the IPL star displays his skills with a bat.

Jaiswal’s innings of 93 runs off 53 balls left the audience spellbound and the Zimbabwe bowlers sweating. Yashasvi and India’s captain Shubman Gill had a brilliant partnership that won India the match.

As Yashasvi Jaiswal accepted the Player Of The Match title, he gave out a brief statement explaining his sentiments. Jaiswal also revealed his plan that helped him play so well.

“I really enjoyed my batting today. I had my plans for different bowlers. The ball was coming on when it was new and as it got old, it was quite slow.” Yashaswi said.

“I enjoyed batting with Shubman. Initially I was thinking to take on the bowlers and as the innings progressed, I thought how to build the innings and stay till the end.” He added.
