PowerShelter launches Partner Program for fire-safe e-bike battery charging

PowerShelter, an innovator in fire-safe e-bike battery charging solutions, has announced the launch of its official Partner Program. This exclusive initiative scales professional-grade charging infrastructure through a select network of distributors committed to technical excellence and urban safety.

When we started PowerShelter, we chose to build an open system — one not tied to a single brand or fleet. The Partner Program is the natural evolution of that vision. It allows us to work with trusted local experts to provide a product that solves the daily risks their clients face — Jake De Wulf, Co-Founder & CCO, PowerShelter

According to PowerShelter, as e-mobility matures globally, a critical gap has emerged between adoption and safe infrastructure. While fleets prioritise uptime and riders charge wherever possible, property owners are left with the liability of unmonitored charging in hallways and offices. Deadly battery fires are too often in the headlines.

PowerShelter says it provides properties with a clear path to regain control over their premises while delivery and logistics companies eliminate operational downtime. By joining this exclusive program, partners can provide clients with charging solutions tailored to any business, residence, or municipality. This replaces unsafe, makeshift habits with purpose-built infrastructure that integrates fire safety features and intuitive technology.

Local Expertise at Global Scale

The program kicks off with a strategic focus on North America and Europe, expanding on PowerShelter’s international presence. In Canada, Monashee Racks has joined as the program’s launch partner, adding PowerShelter to its portfolio of premium bicycle infrastructure.

Integrating PowerShelter’s technology into our portfolio allows us to offer the most secure e-bike battery charging available in North America. As the first-ever partner to join this program, we are excited to help our clients support people who want to ride and charge safely while eliminating the fire and liability risks associated with unmonitored charging – Ashton Olsen, Founder of Monashee Racks.

Also joining the program, Signature Electric brings four decades of EV infrastructure experience to commercial and residential sectors across North America.

In Europe, the Partner Program is anchored by an initial partnership with Fleet Charge Facilities in the Netherlands.

We see that demand is broadening further, from electric cars to e-bikes and other light electric vehicles. With PowerShelter, we are adding a specialised solution that perfectly complements our existing services. This enables us to offer clients a complete and professional range of e-mobility solutions – Henk Gijssen, Co-owner of Fleet Charge Facilities.

Solving Risk for Property Owners and Uptime for Fleets

PowerShelter says it addresses the risks of operational overhead and unmanaged charging through a hardware-first approach:

  • Integrated fire suppression: built-in active safety systems and EV-grade thermal containment.
  • Advanced gas detection: sensors for heat and H2, CO2, and CO gases.
  • Fleet uptime: professional-grade infrastructure designed to keep delivery riders charged and on the road by eliminating the bottlenecks of unmanaged charging and battery swap cycles.

This program isn’t about volume — it’s about finding the right partners in the right markets. The people joining us at launch understand that safe charging infrastructure is a responsibility, not just a product category. That shared mindset is what’s going to make this work — Brett Bouthillier, Co-Founder & CEO, PowerShelter
