Atlantic City will host a stacked night of championship boxing on Saturday, April 11, as Vito Mielnicki Jr. headlines ProBoxTV’s “Homecoming” event from the Adrian Phillips Theater at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, broadcast live on ProBox TV beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Presented by Sampson Boxing, in partnership with Paco Presents and ProBoxTV, the card blends rising international prospects with proven contenders in high-stakes matchups across multiple weight classes.

Sugar Martinez Eyes Statement in U.S. Debut

Power-punching Dominican super lightweight knockout artist Heidan Martinez Morillo, better known as “Sugar Martinez,” will make his long-anticipated United States debut against battle-tested Philadelphian Daiyaan Butt.

The 10-round showdown pits the undefeated 21-year-old sharpshooter Martinez (17-0, 17 KOs) against a rugged veteran in Butt (20-3, 10 KOs), marking the toughest test of Martinez’s young career.

Hailing from La Isabelita in Santo Domingo, Martinez developed his craft in a talent-rich boxing environment, growing up near world champions and elite contenders. Now, he brings his perfect knockout ratio to American soil, looking to prove his power translates on the international stage.

Butt, originally from Los Angeles and now representing Philadelphia, stands 6 feet tall and enters the bout in strong form — having won 10 of his last 11 fights dating back to 2022. The 28-year-old will aim to derail the Dominican prospect’s momentum and pull off the upset.

Main Event: Mielnicki Jr. Defends Titles at Home

In the 10-round main event, Roseland, New Jersey’s own Vito “White Magic” Mielnicki Jr. (22-1, 13 KOs) defends his WBC Continental, IBF USBA, and WBO Global Middleweight Championships against undefeated challenger Omar Ulises “La Bala” Huerta (15-0-1, 13 KOs) of San Ysidro, California via Tijuana.

Ranked No. 5 by the WBO, No. 9 by the IBF, and No. 11 by the WBC, Mielnicki Jr. continues his ascent in the middleweight division. Fighting in his home state adds another layer of motivation as he looks to solidify his standing among the world’s top contenders.

Huerta, unbeaten with heavy hands of his own, presents a legitimate threat. With 13 knockouts in 15 wins, “La Bala” has the power to change the fight with a single shot, setting up a compelling clash between two rising forces.

Co-Feature: Unbeatens Collide for Titles

The 10-round co-feature brings together two undefeated talents as Miami-based Cuban Yan Marcos (14-0, 10 KOs) faces local favorite Dwyke Flemmings Jr. (11-0, 10 KOs) of Paterson, New Jersey.

The bout will be contested for the WBA Intercontinental and USBA Super Welterweight Championships. With both fighters boasting high knockout ratios, this matchup promises fireworks and a potential breakout performance for the winner.

Erick Badillo to Appear

Also scheduled to compete is WBO No. 2-, IBF No. 4-, and WBC No. 11-ranked light flyweight Erick Badillo (19-0, 8 KOs) of Mexico City. His opponent is to be announced.

Additional bouts featuring local and international talent will be revealed in the coming days.
