England boss Thomas Tuchel could name a somewhat experimental line-up for his side’s clash with Uruguay on Friday night.

The German named an initial 35-man squad for the current international camp, with 11 players joining the squad after Friday’s match in preparation for a friendly against Japan at Wembley on Tuesday evening.

Harry Kane, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are among those set to join up with Tuchel’s squad after the match, which could allow for a number of players to be given opportunities to impress against Marcelo Bielsa’s side on Friday.

One of those players could be Marcus Rashford, with the forward having impressed for the Three Lions since Tuchel’s appointment.

At club level, though, it is now emerging that two of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in the attacker.

As per CaughtOffside, French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Italian giants AC Milan are both interested in United forward Rashford.

The 28-year-old is currently on loan at Spanish champions Barcelona, and the La Liga giants do have the option to buy the player permanently for a fee of around £26 million

According to the report, though, Barcelona are unsure about signing the player, much to the frustration of those inside Old Trafford.

Rashford joined Barcelona on loan last summer and has so far made 39 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring ten goals and providing 13 assists.

The England international’s appearances have largely come from the bench, though, with the forward having started just 14 La Liga matches so fae this term.

While Barcelona are said to have backtracked on their plans to sign the player permanently, it is claimed that it isn’t yet clear whether the Spanish giants are trying to negotiate a lower fee, or reduce Rashford’s wage expectations.
