The IPL mega-auction is in full pace and the franchises are busy in deciding which players to retain and release. As fans wait for any official statement from any team, a huge update has been given by The Indian Express on Punjab Kings (PBKS).
It is reported that PBKS are having conversations with Arshdeep Singh, and are eyeing to retain him, taking in consideration that Arshdeep has been with PBKS since 2019. The Punjab franchise also retained him before the IPL 2022 mega auction for Rs 4 crore.
Apart from Arshdeep, PBKS also wish to retain Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma. Both of the uncapped player has a season for PBKS in 2024 which is unforgettable. Shashank made 354 runs with a strike rate of 164.65 and Ashutosh scored 189 with the strike rate of 167.26. PBKS can retain them for Rx 4 crore each.
