Premiership Women’s Rugby has confirmed that the 2026-27 league season will start on the weekend of 21st -22nd November 2026.
The upcoming PWR season will be an exciting time for rugby fans which will include the 2027 Women’s Six Nations, a revamped WXV Global Series and the first ever British & Irish Lions Women’s tour to New Zealand.
The PWR remains one of the most prestigious and popular leagues in world rugby for fans and players alike, and will see the world’s best players competing for their place at these showpiece international tournaments.
After 16 rounds, the league will take a break for the Women’s Six Nations before returning for Round 17 on the weekend of 29-30th May with the PWR final taking place on the weekend of Saturday 26-27th June 2027, following 18 rounds and two semi-finals.
The PWR Cup will also return in 2026, acting as a curtain-raiser for the regular PWR season serving as an opportunity for players to obtain crucial minutes in a competitive playing environment.
The Cup begins on the weekend of 19-20th September 2026, with the final being held on the weekend of 7-8th November.
