Ravichandran Ashwin, who played a significant role in the recently concluded two-match Test series with Bangladesh and was awarded the Player of the Series, has shared his views about the decaying sport called Cricket in Pakistan and stated that most current situations are pretty unpleasant. In his view, every nation has its ups and downs, and every nation has it’s cringe moments in their careers except for Pakistan where the constant change of leader has left players with no choice but to think of themselves.
In a clip that has been widely shared on social media, Ashwin stated: “I honestly feel a little pity ki Pakistan cricket ka jo over the years ka or aaj kal ke phase mein woh log hain.
Jin logon ne Pakistan cricket team mein khelne waale khatarnaak khiladiyon ko kabhi dekha hai wo samjhenge. Pakistan ke liye toh jawaan cricketers kamen nahi the. Looking back at it, one knows the country had a strong cricketing team. In the past they were termed, a cricketing nation had every reason to be proud. With extreme athleticism and finesse li, this is why there are so many skilled professionals.
He emphasized on the transformation of the leaders in the country and spoke of the unsatisfactory performance of the teams when it came to red ball games played at home.
