RADON JAB 10.0 – In Our Big 2026 Enduro Comparison Test

RADON JAB 10.0 – In Our Big 2026 Enduro Comparison Test
Full carbon frame, FOX Factory suspension and a Shimano XT groupset, all for the lowest price in the entire test field. The RADON JAB 10.0 sounds almost too good to be true. But can this lightweight contender hold its own against far pricier enduro bikes, or will the trail expose the reason for its low price?

RADON JAB 10.0 | 160/150 mm (f/r) | 15.3 kg in size XL | € 4,199 | Manufacturer’s website

German direct-to-consumer brand RADON is known for its aggressive pricing, and the top-tier JAB 10.0 is no exception. With an RRP of € 4,199 (and currently on offer for just € 3,199), it’s by far the cheapest bike in the entire test field. The RADON JAB 10.0 takes on the competition with two 29” wheels and 160/150 mm of travel. At just 15.3 kilograms, it’s also the lightest bike on test, aiming to prove that a tight budget doesn’t necessarily mean compromising on trail performance.

RADON JAB 10.0: Specs and details

The RADON JAB is available in two spec variants: the more affordable JAB 9.0 and the top-tier JAB 10.0, which is the one we tested. The 9.0 version is roughly € 700 cheaper than the flagship model, and is currently available for just € 2,599. Both variants rely on a full carbon frame, with the JAB 10.0 finished in a subtle black paint job. RADON provide the bike with generous protection on the chainstay and downtube, although there is no mudguard between the main frame and swingarm. You’d better cross your fingers that no stray rock ends up in that gap and causes trouble.

Individual? Absolutely. Practical? Not so much. The storage compartment with its ATOP twist lock is rather fiddly to use.

You can’t ask for more. Despite the low price, Radon fit the top-spec FOX 38 with the GRIP X2 cartridge.

The cables are routed through an Acros angle-adjust headset as standard, although you can use the cable port on the left side if you want. A frame storage compartment sits in the downtube just ahead of the bottom bracket. It’s accessible through an ATOP twist lock on the top side. When released, the lid stays attached to a small cable and can then be lifted off with a downward motion. The idea is clever, although in practice it is a bit fiddlier than more conventional hatch designs.

Radon give you the choice – route the cables through the headset or stick with the classic head-tube option.

Stone-strike alert. A small fender between the seat tube and rear triangle would do the JAB 10.0 a world of good.

That said, the JAB 10.0 scores big with a spec that is almost unbeatable at this price. RADON fit a full FOX Factory suspension, with a 38 Factory fork with the top-tier GRIP X2 damper, and the “old” FLOAT X2 Factory shock. Both are reliable high-end components with a huge adjustment range that you would simply not expect to see in this price segment. For the wheels, Radon rely on a DT Swiss EX 1700 aluminium wheelset and a proven Continental tire combo, with a Kryptotal Fr at the front and and Kryptotal Re at the rear, both in the Enduro casing and Soft compound. For maximum performance we recommend upgrading to the SuperSoft compound at the front, and depending on your riding style, the tougher Downhill casing at the rear. In our tire comparison test the single-ply Enduro construction did not prove especially puncture resistant.

Despite the high-end spec, the JAB 10.0 is currently yours for just € 4,199.

Radon don’t carry the Shimano XT theme through consistently. The cassette and chain come from the cheaper SLX range.
Radon Jab MX Best Enduro Bike 2026 Test WEB 5109 600x400
The SDG Tellis V2 dropper offers just 170 millimetres of travel, which is nowhere near enough for an XL frame.

Shimano supply the XT brakes and matching drivetrain, although the cassette and chain are from the more affordable SLX line. Race Face take care of the cockpit consisting of Turbine R handlebars and stem that creates a pleasantly tall front end with enough compliance. The SDG Tellis V2 dropper is reliable, but with just 170 millimetres of travel on our test bike in size XL, it simply doesn’t have enough drop. Overall, the RADON JAB 10.0 offers a surprisingly premium build for such a low price.

The Geometry of the RADON JAB 10.0

The RADON JAB 10.0 comes in three frame sizes,M, L and XL, offering a suitable option for riders between 1.70 and 1.95 m tall. That gives it a smaller size range than many other brands in this test. Reach values span from 455 mm in size M to 504 millimetres in size XL, which is pretty standard for a modern enduro bike.

The frame is approved for category 4 use, although the maximum system weight is just 115 kilograms– which is at the limit for heavier riders. You can adjust the geometry quite easily using the Acros headset cups. In the slack setting, the head angle is 63.85 degrees, while the steeper position changes it to 64.75º. There is no flip chip for further geometry tweaks. If you want to run a mullet setup, you’ll have to go straight for the more capable JAB MX model, which generates 170/160 millimetres of travel front and rear.

The RADON JAB 10.0 on the trail

Riding uphill, the RADON JAB 10.0 plays its biggest trump card straight away: its low system weight. While there are bikes in this test field with a more pedal-neutral rear end – like the Pivot Firebird – the RADON still climbs effortlessly thanks to the efficient Continental tires and the climb switch, which is also extremely easy to reach. When gravity takes over, the Radon places you on top of the bike rather than integrating you between its wheels the way the Last, Orbea and GHOST do. Handling is clearly on the playful side. The JAB reacts instantly to rider input, feels very agile and light, but can quickly become nervous in technical terrain. Active riders will have plenty of fun with it, while less experienced riders will need to stay a little bit more focused.

Playful and light on its feet, but quick to get nervous in the rough. The JAB isn’t a plough bike, it’s an agile trail all-rounder.

In rough sections, the JAB 10.0 demands a little more concentration.
Radon Jab MX Best Enduro Bike 2026 Test WEB 5237 600x400
The JAB 10.0 is at its best on flow-trail sections.

The firm suspension offers good support and makes it easy to pop the JAB into the air with control and confidence. At the same time, the stiff suspension delivers less comfort on brake bumps and in rough sections, demanding more input from the rider. The stiff Continental tire casings amplify this character even further. Overall, the RADON JAB 10.0 is a light, agile and versatile enduro bike that performs solidly but doesn’t stir much emotion. It lacks composure in really rough terrain, yet it shines on flow trails and in slow, technical sections thanks to the direct handling. It’s a bike that stands out first and foremost for its value for money rather than for its personality.

Who should take a closer look at the RADON JAB 10.0?

The RADON JAB 10.0 is aimed at riders who want the best spec for their money without making big sacrifices in function or performance. If you are after a light, agile bike for flow trails and playful lines, the JAB is a loyal companion that feels lively and reactive thanks to its direct handling. Bike-park shredders, however, should look elsewhere. The JAB will tackle fast, rough descents without complaint, but it cannot match the reserves and composure of the tougher bikes in this test. For anyone focused primarily on trail riding and looking for top-tier kit at a killer price, the RADON JAB 10.0 is a very appealing package.

In rougher terrain, however, it lacks the calm composure and confidence of its more capable competitors.
